YHS CHORAL BOOSTERS
The Choral Boosters is an organization of parents, faculty, and friends whose purpose is to support the choral music program at York High School. We meet once a month (firstThursday) throughout the school year in the Choir Room to organize activities that support the choirs and show choirs. The activities include chaperoning trips, providing financial assistance for choral department purchases, student scholarships for music camps, and for helping to sponsor various fundraisers where students raise money to finance their music camps and trips. The membership fee for a family to join the Choral Boosters is $10.00 for the year. We periodically publish a newsletter that is published on our this site. We need suggestions for new fundraisers as well!! Choral boosters monies generated by our fundraisers help to support the entire choral department. This is a "partial" list of how we support choral students: - Accompanist fees for solo & ensemble, Pops Concert, Holiday Concert, End of Year Showcase and summer choir camp.
