Description: This too is advance choral
ensemble, however it is only open to women who have already attained a high
level of vocal maturity and music literacy.Recently formed for the 2006-2007 school year, this
group performs choral literature of the highest quality, which includes
representation of musical periods, styles and foreign languages.The Jazz Choir involves a strong commitment from all of its members.This
course places an emphasis on performance finesse, the study of diverse
choral literature including major works, defining sections, and vocal
independence.The group performs 1-2 required
concerts per quarter including Music In The Parks, KHS Chamber Invitational, and middle school tours and college tours.
